Obviously, it is important
that you choose a competent company to perform
your home inspection. Like most services, it is necessary to ask
the right questions and pick a company that stands behind their
work. Your inspector should have been properly
trained via a N.Y.S. approved training program
and in New York, they must now be licensed and
insured. Each inspector should be inspecting to a recognized
standard and must provide a documented report
upon completion of the inspection.
Unfortunately, there can be a variety of methods for
accomplishing these requirements, so be sure you ask sufficient
questions before making your final selection.
